发个教授的回复: The MSE program is quite small but growing. This smallness has been on purpose in order to offer personalized mentoring with an elite group of students. In other words, we have chosen not to let in students who did not fit. Up to now, we have had one Chinese student. For the fall, we have accepted four Chinese students, where you would be one of them. We have also accepted a European student.
However, and this is important, is that the majority of classes are together with MBA students. There are many Chinese students in these classes. Some other entrepreneurship classes are cross-listed with seniors (undergraduates). Again, this is to ensure a lot of professor-student contact and also manage the experiential learning components (i.e. working with companies). Many of our seniors are Chinese too. In other words, I do not see any issues with fitting in.
The age is relatively young – most are recent graduates. There are not yet any accepted students over the age of 30. So, there too, I do not see any problems.
I hope this answers your questions. I’d be happy to discuss more.
