But today, the plane can reduce the time to several hours. Another instance is, the progress of science contributes to a more efficient life. If I want to search some data, the internet can answer me in less than one second. But in the past, people have to throw themselves in the library for several days.
Is university important? Well, in my opinion, I would definitely agree with the point that, learning in the university is important. The first reason is that, in the high school, we have to learn what we are required to. But in the university, we can develop our interest and learn what we like, which can help us to explore our potential. More importantly, university is a bridge between school and society. It provides us a lot of opportunity to access to the society and these experiences can help us adapt to the society more easily.
Live in the city or other place on vacation? Well, in my opinion, I would definitely agree with the point that, living in the city is preferable. The first reason is that, because I attend school in the city, most of my classmates and friends live in the city. So, if I spend my vacation in the village, I have no companion to play with. More importantly, the city has a lot of facilities for entertainment and we are familiar with these places. But if I am in the village, I can find no place to play.
Freshmen live together or with other grades Well, in my opinion, I would definitely agree with the point that living together is preferable. The first reason is that, living with other grades will make freshmen feel uncomfortable. Because they are smaller than others, so they have to pay much respect to others. In contrast, if living together they will feel free and equal. More importantly, living together can develop their sense of independence. If living with higher grades, they will be inclined to ask others for help. But if living together, they have to depend on themselves.
The most important lessen can’t be learned in the class? Well, in my opinion, I would like to say that this varies based on different subjects. If your major is history or some similar subjects, through the learning of class, you can have a good command of its essential. Because your teacher have studied the materials for a long time, and you can hardly find some other materials. But, if your major is computer science and the like, which is developing day by day, besides the knowledge learned in the class, you should also look up the latest material, because these information can hardly be included in the textbook in time.
Should students take a year-long vacation before attending university? Well, in my opinion, I would definitely agree with the point students should not take such a long time vacation before attending university. The first reason is that, what you have learned in the high school is the prerequisite to subjects in the university. If you take such a long time vacation, some of the knowledge will be forgotten and it will be a block for you to start your study in the university. More importantly, after the vacation, you have to change your psychological state from travel to study, which is not easy for most people.
