同求此题解答，我也选了A，而且我感觉除了A之外，其他几个选项都改变了句子重心啊，这是为什么呢？

这个ing 修饰的是data~不是scientists~亲。所以错了。
还有一个地方容易失误，如果说 +ing正确修饰Subject的话，

Data reporting that the Earth'snorthern latitudes have become about tenpercent greener since 1980, due to more vigorous plant growth associated withwarmer temperatures and higher levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide ，gathered byweather ， has been analyzed by scientists 这个是错误的，这种用法使这个句子冗长，繁杂。

各位大牛，请教个问题。Data本身是复数名词啊，主谓一致应该是用复数的谓语。所以，这应该也是这道题的一个考点吧，但我看笔记上木有啊。。不知道俺的理解对不对？谢谢各位支招。

,ing 做状语要注意逻辑主语，A中前一句的主语是data，而report应该是由scientists发出的，所以A错了~
