答案C。我选的E。解释说e 不能算是独立主格结构。为什么？
独立主格：A+B

我觉得完全符合这个格式么……

这里说E不是独立主格是因为 E无法修饰appoint么？

C选项， including是说 several posts 里包括了assistant majority whip and vice-chair of the DemocraticSenatorial Committee这两个职位，
E选项，among them being是说several posts就是assistant majority whip and vice-chair of the DemocraticSenatorial Committee这两个职位，
显然C选项更合理些，因为几个职位可能不只有这两职位，或许更多。

还有，among应该用在三者以上，但是这里就两个职位。错上加错

有，OG的语法知识点部分有说among要指代3者及以上。

不是吧，应该是“这两个职位 are among them”，them指several posts.所以among可以
