这道题看了好几个贴把我看糊涂了
首先是to make到底是和谁平行啊？
第二是as a result 和 the result is 之间到底有什么区别呢？
求助各位！！！！

又看了一遍解释，感觉模模糊糊搞懂了
平行的肯定是to distinguish and to make，这是俩个consequence,一开始我比较纠结A的解释，怎么就the result is,
introduces a new clause which indicates that children’s inability to distinguish sounds enables them to make sense of speech.后来看了一下，还是不平行导致的，for doing 和 to do 不是平行的两部分，加上 the result is，就变成了 it hampers the abiity for doing sth. 导致了一个结果是 to make balabala.就改变了句意。不知道我这样理解对不对。
