这句话是正确选项，可是大家不觉得这句话少谓语动词么，similar to 前面不应该有be动词么，读着好难受

主语Inhabitants，谓语claim，宾语sightings
宾语的核心词是sightings，结构为sightings of A similar to B, similar to表示对比，A跟B比。similar to前面一定不可以加be动词，原因有二：
1、多余。A similar to B已经很好了，说A is similar to B除非这是主句。
2、of是介词，介词后面绝对不可以接句子，说明白一点儿介词不可以连接一个句子。

这题也不难，要是读杨鹏的难句，你会郁闷的。语法基础需要加强，建议。
