对于错误选项已经有很多人总结过啦~

但是我依然不是很明白正确选项A中的那个过去完成时had feared 因为一般不是说一定要出现过去时才可以有过去完成时吗？时态跳跃如何看？
而且and在这里代表的是什么呢？（时态已不平行）前一阵看到某帖说and还有递进关系，并非所有and都意味着平行结构，这是对的么？
还有看到有NN说平行结构并不意味着时态的平行，是我理解错了还是真有此事呢？？

我觉得这里时态是平行的吧~avoid和come平行~主语都是economy~

and一般都是表达平行关系，除非有很明显的信号词，比如下面这个OG原题。
A new study suggests that the converstional pace of everyday life may be so brisk that it hampers the ability of some children to distinguish discrete sounds and words and, as a result, to make sense of speech.
这里的平行结构是to distinguish....and to make....,因为有了as a result，所以语义上表示递进。

平行结构不意味着时态要一致，比如：
She has finished homework and will go shopping.
