关于07 prep语法笔记中的几点问题，求大神解答

以下几题是我看prep07笔记的时候，没有明白的题目，求大神指教。

但是这里面显然是指代主句的主语buds。对于which， that的指代，我经常搞混，还有they ，it有的时候
他们指代主句的第一个符合语义的名词，有的时候有是就近指代。不知道代词在指代的时候是不是要跳过
从句，或者插入语，只看主句部分呢？求大神指导~

另外，compare to/ with 分别强调相似和不同点，manhattan,还有白勇语法都有强调，
但是prep07笔记说不作为GMAT考点，在做题的时候需要考虑吗？

最后一个问题，prep07和08年笔记差异大吗？我已经看了07笔记，是否有必要再看08笔记呢？
