答案是D吗？动名词应该是可以的，但貌似这就是最优的

我觉得答案是A. 着眼整体，从平行来看，排除B.C. 剩下A/D/E 我们暂且不考虑like的问题。看句子的逻辑意思。
the exquisite bouquet of a fine wine意思是好酒的浓郁芬芳，那么和它进行比较的应该是另外一种酒的香气，而不是酒。所以必须在 ordinary grape juice前面加上that of。排除D/E 选A

这题考linking verb的平行结构+比较级的关系

平行：to do sth is to do sth的结构==》在AE中选择
比较：E错了，因为compare a fine wine’s bouquet with ordinary grape juice’s bouquet把比较点的the exquisite 给漏了！

所以是A

还有一道类似的题目，必须从这方面考虑，否则解不了提

只能说 to do is to do，或者 doing is doing。不能混用
