问A的错误在哪里？感觉如果Adams和Madison是比Roosevelt早一个年代的人，也可以用过去完成时。谢谢帮忙分析。

A的主要问题不是时态吧，我感觉比较双方she shattered和A. or D. ever had been没法对等吧，因为前面的并不是BE动词
