我下载的版本里说选A，CD的GWD语法笔记里说选B。。。。

看这题的时候A没感觉就先放着了。B 乱，一句话下来让人要分析。。。不够准确吧。
C 我想问 coming是谁发出的？做修饰说不通
D 语义上有点怪。。。可以先放着如果没感觉
E 描述report内容的时候becoming是闹哪样？正在变？
那么来比较下A和D.
两个区别顺序不同和would（was to）。。。首先语义上我更倾向去A。看would，意思是你越接近town，空气会（可能性）越不好。
另外was to →→这么个感觉：慢慢接近，那么前面用became又成了个动作。
不知道我这么说对不对

好像语感的成分多一些。那么这个nothing that是什么用法呢？谢谢哈

硬说就是伴随吧~  我不确定
重要的是语义上来说想表达啥 ~  基本的语法有了之后还是看能不能清楚的传达意思

我觉得从语义上来说就是R发表了个啥，指出啥~ 既然句子没有类似平行比如and noted  主语是R 那么noting只能是R发出~ 也就是伴随PUBLISH了

我也不是很确定这么说对不对，只是习惯这么做题
