答案选C. 我也认为C表达很好，但是its cargo后面不是缺少谓语was吗？

leaked是active verb..

active verb？是说及物动词吗？

我刚查过，leak做油气等的泄露是不及物vi，消息的走漏是及物动词vt.

??

ran aground   and   leaked  into  ,前面都米有was (被动)，后面干吗要was(被动)呢？

就因为是vi，更不能用be动词啊~

同理，the sun rises, rise是vi....
