后面接年代的时候究竟用to be还是at ?

Given an infinite amount of time, even a probability of ten to the forty thousandth would be possible. We do not, however, have an infinite amount of time. The earth has been dated to be 4.6 billion years old. But until 3.98 billion years ago, the earth was too hot to produce life. The oldest fossils on record date back 3.85 billion years ago. Understanding that there could be older fossils that have not yet been found, but not calculating that possibility into this equation, we are left with a 130 million year time frame for an "accident" to occur. This indeed is impossible. Therefore since life could not have, mathematically, been accidentally formed, there must have been a creator. This creator is God.

Living snails were C14 dated at 2,300 and 27,000 years old

above are from google......no answer...

3. Rock samples taken from the remains of an asteroid about twice the size of the 6-nuke-wide asteroid that eradicated the dinosaurs has been dated to be 3.47 billion years old an dthus is evidence of the earliest known asteroid impact on Earth.

C. have been dated to be 3.47billion years old and thus are

Paleontologists believe that fragments of a primate jawbone unearthed in Burma and estimated at 40 to 44 million years old provide evidence of a crucial step along the evolutionary path that led to human beings.

(A) at 40 to 44 million years old provide evidence of

(B) as being 40 to 44 million years old provides evidence of

(C) that it is 40 to 44 million years old provides evidence of what was

(D) to be 40 to 44 million years old provide evidence ofD

(E) as 40 to 44 million years old provides evidence of what was

The unusual shape of this pot dates it at about AD 400.

218. The domesticated camel, which some scholars date around the twelfth century B.C., was the key to the development of the spice trade in the ancient world.

(A) The domesticated camel, which some scholars date

(B) The domesticated camel, which some scholars having thought to occur

(C) Domesticating the camel, dated by some scholars at

(D) The domestication of the camel, thought by some scholars to have occurredD

(E) The camel’s domestication, dated by some scholars to have been

E) sb. date sth. to be, 正确sb. date sth.。

date from something phrasal verb:to have existed since a particular time in the past

The church dates from the 13th century.

date: tr.

To mark or supply with a date: date a letter.

To determine the date of: date a fossil.

To betray the age of: Pictures of old cars date the book.
