关于B选项的failed in not controlling for，OG是这么解释的"the phrase failed in not controlling for is awkward and does not mean the same thing as failed to control for"
我的疑问：按OG的意思是不是说fail in doing这种用法是存在的，只是awkward以及和fail to do表达意思不一样？
可我查了朗文，上面只有fail in attempt to do这种用法，大侠们可否帮忙解释？多谢

谢谢这位战友，我怎么就没注意到这个not呢，应该是双重否定了，所以OG才会解释说doesn't mean the same thing
不过，还有一个疑问，那就是是不是存在fail in doing这种用法呢？
