OA是A，我当时选了E。但是A看着还是有点变扭，谁能帮我解释下A的意思，谢谢！

A选项中的more than all the North American...是用来修饰20 percent of the world's fresh water, 但是E选项more than all the...是用来修饰Siberia's Lake Baikal。要知道，Lake Baikal 本身是不能代表一个数量大小的，应该是它的含水量“超过”,E选项修饰错误！

嗯，做题时比较对象可比性确实比较重要...A中是用一个非限定限定性的定语从句先修饰了lake Baikal，请教下后面这个“more than all...“是什么结构？一般在修饰时怎么使用？拜谢了。

E选项改变了句子主结构，完全改变了句子意思。

事实上，我不认为有more than all 这种固定结构，more than 倒是可以的。
A选项中的more than all the North American Great Lakes combined. 很明显，all the North American Great Lakes combined是一个整体，不要把它分开来看。就是说“所有五大湖加起来的总和”！

老实说，我觉得A的表达，超过三百条的河流流入了这个S湖，然后用这么长的句子来修饰这个湖...这样的句子看上去并不舒服；相反，E选项乍一看，比北美所有的湖加起来都大，S湖（主语），（因为）有超过300条的河流流入, 占有了（谓语）世界上20%的淡水~看上去就很舒服~~

我这样想是不是会有问题，求更正！

E选项，More than allthe North American Great Lakes combined对比对象不明确，从形式上来看变成了贝加尔湖本身和北美所有大湖总和作对比，有悖于原意。
