积压了几天,有点多呀,麻烦各位了。

B it无所指代;
D it没有指代对象
E是否是因为unlike修饰可前可后,所以不行?

看不懂这句话啥意思,各个选项错在哪里。正确答案是E貌似。

正确选项E,C错是因为,Billion是美元,不能和figure比较;所有这类具体数字和抽象概念的比较都是错的,应当把数字抽象成一个词比如an amount才行。这么想对不对?

1. I’m not quite sure whether where and in which are interchangeable here... It is not a good split to me

B. there is no ambiguity in having (it modifies the preceding clause);the usage of having here does not make sense..we need a noun modifier


other analysis seems fine to me


2. D.E all out because of the problem of logical subject


3.    43 percent of what???not clear ///also,the reference of it


E. illogical comparison


others seem right to me


4. nope , u r wrong ... you should read the sentence more carefully to notice what parts are actually parallel ....


it is fourteen days that should be parallel to seven days ( the of is understood in the E choice)



I will pose my opinion on other questions later


I deeply suggest that you ask indeed one question at a thread


quite overwhelming and nerve-racking for seeing so many problems in one thread

6. every time cannot introduce relative clause; again i do not suggest u to do this kind of unofficial source

7. two events are being compared in term of the eye-catching effect; these two events are written in the form of that-clause;
u should make the two parts being compared as parallel as possible


8. it seems fine to me


9. you should use the meaning to figure it out (once again I do recommend u to analyze the OG and prep problems rather than doing this sorts of question)

感谢DUKB24,prep和og是最好的我也明白,但是这是楼主三战了,这两份资料的答案实在太清晰了,og又刷了一遍,所以想用新题检验一下效果如何。
莫非把prep08再刷一遍么?

另:我发现这么多题的确很蛋疼= = 我看解释都有点晕乎。。。。

我推荐你做manhattan的sc都比大全好。大全最致命的就是没有权威的解释。有时部分正确答案简直颠覆你对语法所建立起来的价值观。

论坛刚破解的prep12也可以

关于having,你的意思是不是:既然都是修饰Esaugetu Emissee这个人 ,没有必要一个用who引导的定从来修饰,一个又用ving来修饰?

另外,在表示动作的时候,have the power to do是不是应该比have the power of doing 要好?

他的意思是having在这里很明显是做状语对前一句修饰,而原句的真正意思是要对Esaugetu Emissee进行修饰。

这个解释很有道理。
