Some of my personal knowledge about Texas. Very good soft skill training called Plus Program. I know an ex-PwC graduated from Texas and managed to land in McK in Shanghai. Texas has good partnerships with some of the top consulting firms including Deloitte Consulting. For McK level, we really need to work very hard to get in - the same for anyone. Not much knowledge about Kelley. Hope it helps.
btw, I had a very good interview (I would rather call it a talk between friends) with Daniel (you can check the title of Daniel on Texas website) when he came to Beijing for World MBA Tour last November. I personally would say that Daniel is one of the nicest and most charming b school interview I have ever met. This is a very friendly school. A few friends of mine and I are big fans for Texas, no matter we apply it or not. cheers...
justgoahead, thanks for your valuable point of view. My interview was also an informative and pleasant conversation, yes! My interviewer was Vicki, a good dialogue partner. For UT itself, it is a good university generally.
