Thank you for your interest in the Chicago GSB. You no longer need to send official GMAT and TOEFL scores until after admission - the unofficial report you send in your application is fine until then. To confirm receipt of your scores you can check online within your application.
Please let me know if you have further questions.
Best wishes, Cris Shepard
Dear XX,
We are not able to verify receipt of individual scores due to the large numbers that we receive. However, as long as you self-report your scores on the application, if we do not have the official report we would contact you at that time.
I think if the school has explicitly stated that no official score is needed at the time of application, then you're OK. Just remember to send it in after you're admitted. However, if they didn't say so, don't assume!! Many schools say that your offical scores should arrive before a certain deadline. In such case, they acutally DO verify your scores at the time of application. So check for specific wording in their application instructions. When in doubt, contact the schools to have their reply in writing.
