如此节省的送分方式是否可行?

我最近发现, 基本上学校都是要求在每轮的DEADLINE之前要求self report分数, 对于ETS是否及时送到不关心, 我曾经要求他们查询核实ETS是否把分数已经送到,接到的几家学校的答复都是, "我们人手有限,无法一一查询,我们只关心ON LINE上填写的考试成绩,等到真正录取你了, 如果没有收到ETS分数,再和你联系....."

harvard的网站Q&A里还专门说, ETS送分可以晚于deadline...

如果这样的话, 我看大家好像可以别忙着给ETS送钱以及和学校核实, 等到确定哪家录取你了, 如果不是那五家免费名单里的, 你再以最快的方式汇钱送分,这样不是更经济? (基本上只要交一份钱就可以了)

当然只是我自己的想法, 保险性还有待大家考证;如果可行, 那我可亏了, 银子已经无数交给ETS了,呵呵 .

看来国内国外的待遇是不一样的啊....

Thank you for your interest in the Chicago GSB. You no longer need to
send official GMAT and TOEFL scores until after admission - the
unofficial report you send in your application is fine until then. To confirm
receipt of your scores you can check online within your application.

We are not able to verify receipt of individual scores due to the large
numbers that we receive. However, as long as you self-report your
scores on the application, if we do not have the official report we would
contact you at that time.

I think if the school has explicitly stated that no official score is needed at the time of application, then you're OK. Just remember to send it in after you're admitted. However, if they didn't say so, don't assume!! Many schools say that your offical scores should arrive before a certain deadline. In such case, they acutally DO verify your scores at the time of application. So check for specific wording in their application instructions. When in doubt, contact the schools to have their reply in writing.
