答案是B，请问A错在何处，是”BURNING“错了吗

主要是意思不对：as a result of burning fossil fuels，burning修饰fossil fuels，于是就是说：carbon dioxide as a result of fossil fuels

此外，记得as a result of 不能在句中修饰名词，这样的表达是unidiomatic的

而是increased atmospheric carbon dioxide 能cool the globe
