This claim 题目中是既有claim,也有reason的is relatedto a very controversial topic about the comparison of importance to a personbetween imagination and experience. Einstein once said, imagination is moreimportant than knowledge. The conclusion is drawn for the consideration that alack of experience lifts people out of established habits and attitudes andsets them free to imagine. This argument makes sense to some extent, but I donot completely agree with the claim and the reason. From the following twoaspects.这样的表述是很不地道的
Admittedly, imagination plays important part inmany fields. Einstein once put that experience is limited, while imaginationsummarized everything in the world, and is the source of knowledge evolution.General relativity, for instance, was discovered by doing a thought experimentin mind, than was only confirmed scientific experiments. Not only in scientificwork but also in literary and artistic creation require a rich imagination.J.K. Rowling’s famous novel series Harry Potter, which are miraclesin the history of literature, are filled with imagination and attract countlessreaders. Today’s rapidly developing society needs such rich imaginations toserve as a guide to creation. 在你说想象力的有很大作用的时候,你需要说下它具体是怎么作用的 It also should be recognized that establishedhabits and attitudes may sometimes shackle us with a chain. Philosophicallyspeaking, there is no absolute truth. The knowledge we learned may be wrong, and the experience we got may be misleading. Imagination without established habitsand attitudes leads us closer to the truth. However, considering the followingtwo aspects, the claim is proved to be one-sided.
Firstly, imagination is a very valuable asset to a person, but experience is equally important, the reason put forward is not so true.Still take General relativity as an example. Einstein was a famous physicistand knowledgeable, he cannot do such thought experiment without a wealth ofexperience. A baby infant cannot make any scientific discoveries just becausehe lacks experience. In most professions and academic fields, expertise andexperience is the basis of innovation. One can only make more significativeimagination in possess of experience, or it may be clueless.
In the second place, even if the reason is proved to betrue, there is no causal relationship between the reason and the claim. Ifexperience hinders the imagination, we can only obtain the conclusion thatexperience leads to a lack of imagination, but not anything relates to which ismore valuable. And if we follow the logic of the claim and the reason, byputting up a reason that some experience helps to imagine, one can easilyconclude that experience is a more valuable asset than imagination. 这后面的分析如果能有距离就更好了,因为说明想象力和知识经验的关系阐述起来比较抽象 (In a nutshell) Consequently, the speakeroverstates the importance of imagination while overlooks the value ofexperience. To be successful, one may first broaden his mind throughexperience, and then dialectically analyze it. At last, he can imagine andcreate boldly. Actually you have done a good job。这种claim和reason的题目就是看你对他的质疑和反驳 |
