请教关于代词指代对象的问题

In late 1997,the chambers inside the pyramid of the Pharaoh Menkaure at Giza were closed to visitors fo cleaning and repairing due to moisture exhaled by tourists,which raised its humidity to such levels so that salt from the stone was crystallizing and fungus was growing in the walls.

A) due to moisture exhaled by tourists,which raised its humidity to such levels so that salt from the stone was crystallizing
B) due to moisture that tourists had exhaled,thereby raising its humidity to such levels that salt from the stone would crystallize.

C选项的them，OG说是在指代tourists~~

那我以后可以得到这样的结论吗：代词指代看单复数，若一个复述代词对应多个复数名词，则该单词指代最近的那个复数名词~对吗？

OG 12-67 题的it 他就没有用就近原则他觉得it 可能知道（近）Algeria 或（远）Moroco

ls说的是E选项吧 OG的意思是，“E选项会造成it的修饰混乱，所以E是错的。”

名词的modifier都是touch rule，除了各别例子。看看manhattan的modifiers的相关章节吧 =]

对啊啊对啊它那个解释到底能不能说的通啊-。- 一般不是就近指代么为什么会混乱呢
一般不是就近的话会出现逻辑错误来排除的么现在他完全巴拉巴拉乱讲的吧=。= 还是我太没有觉悟了

在75题的A选项也提到了指代不清貌似并不是说要就近哦就近的话就不会存在ambiguous的问题

A项这里的ambiguous说的并不是就近指代出问题╮(╯▽╰)╭ 而是，their 作为一个指代复数名词的代词，可以指代前面出现的多个复数名词~
OG的意思是，“Since their could refer to either tourists or rhinoceroses, animals’ horns is needed to avoid the ludicrous suggestion that the visitors’ horns are being trimmed.”

我觉得是这样的=。=

偶觉得不能只认准“就近指代出问题”这一条....得谨慎小心的决定代词的指代问题╮(╯▽╰)╭

比如75的问题就是有一坨复数名词出现了，再次出现其中一个复数名词的时候，不能用their，而是要重复那个名词。这一点，manhattan也是有讲的~

今天又看到770大牛的机经整理上说：

? 代词不一定是就近指代（但过远一定不好），通常代词指代对象的查找顺序为：
(1) 主从句中：先指代主语的核心词，再指代宾语或表语的核心词，最后指代修饰语中的名词。
(2) 并列句中：有2个或3个句子并列，第2个或第3个句子中的代词应该优先指代第1句中主句的名词
