Comparing to the human society in a hundredyears ago, the educational level in today's world has been(这个可以不要) improved vastly, which is benefiting from the fast development ofsociety, science, technology and economy. In many countries, especiallydeveloped countries, universal cover of elementary education has realized andhigh education has no longer been the privilege of the nobility. All kinds ofeducational institutions have been significant bases for cultivating thespecialized, sophisticated citizens. In such situation, whether the educationalinstitutions should encourage the students to be the 'most suitable' or 'mostwant to be' citizens has been a controversial argument. In my point of view, the two opinions have both their own rationalities and disadvantages and aappropriate and reasonable mixing up of two methods will be a suitable andeffective solution.
Admittedly, in today's world, it is reasonable andsuitable for the society's needs that a student to choose a job with lucrativefuture. Considering that every student needs to work after graduation fromschools, choosing a major with better future is fair and reasonable. If theknowledge the student have studied cannot match the needs of the society, whichmeans unemployment after graduation, the student will not only fail to develophis hobby but also need to worry about the living problem.
However, aside from the opinion listed above, theeducational institutions should not encourage the students to choose the majorsonly taking account of the future of profitability. As the people saying goes:interest is the best teacher. Educational institutions should encouragestudents to study what they are really interested in. Students often workharder in the fields which they like and it is easier for them to succeed inthose fields. For supporting examples, one should look no further than thescientific communities: many enormous accomplishments of famous scientists, such as Newton,Einstein, are closely related with their deep love of their studying fields.
Furthermore, as we know, in such dynamic world, career prospects are not forever unchanged. One can hardly estimate the futureof a field only by observing the current situations. Fifty years ago, electronics and software industries are just small companions to thetraditional heavy industries, such as manufacture. But today, thousands ofmillionaires and the biggest business giants, such as Microsoft and Google havecome from the two industries and change the face of the world and society.Apparently, to the original participants to these industries, their majors inuniversities were certainly not considered as 'majors with great future'.Furthermore, no matter in which majors you are, to be a expert in your majorcan always lead a good job because in a society with so complex and developeddiversification, an expert is always needed.
To sum up, a student is easier to succeed in themajor he likes and at the same time, taking account of the needs of the societywhen choosing majors will give students more lucrative and hopeful jobs aftertheir graduations. So, educational institutions should fully respect theinterests of students and make suggestions according to the needs of the marketand society, which takes advantages of both methods.这篇文章写的比较好,尤其是第三点,一般人比较难以写到。加油,建议LZ用那个作文的模考软件试试,严格掐时间写,尽早适应。 |
