og13 90（即og12 86）有关after表示时序问题

我不能理解的地方在于，为什么after+falling 就能表示时态上的前后关系；就算考虑到时状语从句的省略，那么不也和主句中的时态是一致的吗？如果说加上after之后能够表示动作发生的时间先后，AB选项中的after也能体现出来了啊，但是OG解释却说The verb tense do
not distinguish between the times at which these indicators occured

我感觉...是不是因为AB两项 after前后的时态都是一致：过去时对过去时过完对过完因此OG说没有distinguish？

我也这么认为，但是为什么正确答案里的after+doing就体现出了时间上的先后呢。

我记得在Manhattan forum上Roy有解释过C选项中after falling这里的falling是gerund而不是一个modifier. 所以我的理解是这里的after就可以表现出时间先后顺序了。而AB中的情况不同，因为AB中after后面是个完整的句子，有动词就存在和前句中的动词的时间顺序问题。

在Manhattan上的解释是，OG的解释在这里不准确，A答案里在时态是可以的，没有不能distinguish的问题。
俺同意，有after已经明确表达了时序。
