还有verbose，哪里verbose了
经常在OG解释当中看到awkward，到底怎么样的算awkward啊？

还有D的 “the use of the assuming with the possessive makes the construction unnecessarily complex”又该怎么理解？我不觉得它makes the construction unnecessarily complex啊。要怎么样才算complex呢？

LZ，你的问题真心没法回答。。。。只能告诉你gmat考的是规范书面英语，很多口语里常见的说法在书面上都是不规范的，比如说one's doing的结构就是非常不好的结构。。。这需要一点点地积累，别心急~

LZ，你的问题真心没法回答。。。。只能告诉你gmat考的是规范书面英语，很多口语里常见的说法在书面上都是不规范的，比如说one's doing的结构就是非常不好的结构。。。这需要一点点地积累，别心急~

one's doing不是传说中的独立主格吗？不规范吗？

没有说不规范，yiqing的意思说不是一个好的表述，但没说不正确，也有one's doing正确的句子啊，LZ看下一句：OG13里的
The world wildlife fund has declared that global warming,a phenomenon that most scientists agree is caused by human beings' burning of fossil fuels， will create havoc among migratory birds by altering the enviroment in ways harmful to their habitats.
one's V-ing你要看怎么用，如果V-ing本身有名词形式，那就最好用名词形式，如果V-ing本身没有名词形式，那么V-ing作为gerund来作为名词词性。
至于你说什么才是awkward，说实话没人整理过呵呵，可能就是一种语感，觉得这么写不符合常理或者会让看得人不舒服
关于你说的这道题目scientist's assuming就属于awkward，因为它没有表达intended meaning，原意是要表达【帮助解答为什么科学家会假设】，如果你改成C，我且不说assuming不如assumption,C的意思变成【帮助解答科学家假设的是什么】；一个解释假设的原因，一个解释假设本身，意思完全不同。
