Sure thing and glad to help! First of all in the energy industry specifically you should start with Haas, which has a specific Energy program, and Austin, which has one as well. If you want to go OUT of the Top 20 (but still to excellent programs) the other Texas programs - Rice and Jones are VERY well connected to the Energy Industry (makes sense with all that Texan oil!). But you don't necessarily have to go to an energy program. If you went to ANY program in the Top 20, you could probably find a good job afterwards. Although you may want to start by concentrating on the Programs with first Energy and then Tech specialities (so MIT, Stanford, Haas, Anderson, Tepper). I think this list should start you off! But as always, have a look at the employment statistics from each school and who is actually hiring from where. This can be your best indication of whether the program might be suitable for you.
