在家工作好，还是去学校工作好？
Have you ever worked in home and found it hard to concentrate on the work? Have you ever feel
loneliness without going outside for a few days? Have you ever been in a situation where you lack
the inspiration just because there is no one can share the thoughts with you? If you do not have
such experience, you would never know the importance of working in the company rather than home. Hence, in my eye working in the company is beneficial to high efficiency and have a regular relationship and communication with the colleagues.
It is true that working at home has its own merits. It means that one can have a better environment, a flexible work schedule and do not have to bear the awful traffic jam any more. What an appealing life, isn't it? But is it a wise one? When taking factors into consideration, as far as I am concerned, working in the company overweighs this kind of life.
First of all, working effectively and efficiently is the most important factor. Through the daily experience we all have, we can easily find out that when we are working with others in the company, we will just speed up and make the best effort to finish the assignment. While if we go back home with the work undone, there is no doubt that the working condition is more comfortable. But other things like the TV, talking between family members will disturb us a lot, which lead to the low efficiency of the work. As a matter of fact, I have never heard that even one of the top 500 companies in the world lets their employees work at home. Even in Google which has a policy allowing their employees to choose flexible working time, they still have to work in the company.
The importance of relationship and communication with coworkers comes next only to the importance of efficiency. That is, social relationship is an essential part of our life and if we work alone, we are just like having been sent to an isolated island. Just image that you live and work by yourself all the day, and no one can share with your happiness when you perfectly do a good job or the sadness when you are in low emotion. Such a terrible life, isn't it? A survey conducted by a large company in 10 major cities in China shows that 83 percent of people argue that the social relationship, the relationship with the coworkers is extremely necessary for them. So it is high time we seriously take the relationship and communication with colleagues into account the next time we decide the place to work.
In short what has been discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that it is better to work with other individuals in the company. Only in the place which suits to work best can we obtain satisfied efficiency and harmonious social relationship. |
