Government officials should rely on their own judgmentrather than unquestioningly carrying out the will of the people whom theyserve.
It is long over debate that whether government officialsshould rely on their political acumen to make decisions.  Some peoplebelieve the government, which representing the leading power of a country, should be competentto always make the right decisions. Thus, government officials should rely ontheir own judgment; and citizens should follow the guidance which is set by the leaders, andhelp implement it. Whilesome others think government officials should unquestioningly carrying out thewill of the people whom they serve. Both of these two points of views has itsshortage. In the former one, totally ignoring the will of the people may leadto totalization, which may maximizethe power of the leader, the general warfare of the people may not be assured. However, tounquestioning carrying out the will of the people is nearly impossible toattain; and to force the leaders to forfeit their decision making authority may fetter thepolitical experts to search out the most benefits for the country. It isimportant for government officials to listen to the people, and make decisionsbased on their own judgment as well as the will of the people.
Government officials who rely on their own judgment only maynot lead a country to success. Even the greatest leaders with peerless politicalacumen cannot make the right decisions by themselves.  Besides, to dismiss the will of the people mayimpair the democracyof a country. Governors may fail to realize what the need of the people is,thus cannot benefit the people. People’s voice will not be heart, and they arenot participating in the decision making process. Therefore, they may be lesswilling to implement the leader’s plan.
To unquestioningly carrying out the will of the people maylead a country to a chaos. Sometimes “the will of people” is not easily to bedefined. Some people may always have the “will” to take advantages of others, while some others only have the “will” to maintenant their basic livingsubstances. Not to mention that leaders are selected because they have theability to make the right decision. To let the will of the people to totallyoverride the leaders’ judgment is just like to forestall a doctor from inducinga treatment plan, and try to cure oneself by doing whatever he/she feels like.
The most intelligentway to get out of this dilemmais probablythat government should create a survey to find out the will of the majority, and make decisions based on both the will of the people, and the leaders’judgment. When American planed to purchase Alaska from Russia, most Americans vetoed theproposal. American government used the unwillingness from the people to negotiate with Russia.Fear to lose the customer, and eager to sell Alaska made the Russia cut theprice. Purchasing Alaska turned out to be a coup for America. It is alwaysimportant to listen to the general public, and to use their voice smartly duringdecision making process.
Governors should find out the will of the people, and makeinsight decision based on that, to seek the benefit for the country and itspeople.

同样,结尾过于简单,有点虎头蛇尾的感觉。

段落之间最好有转折或者递进的逻辑关系,而且最好用转折连接词。
美国人喜欢简单清楚。
