estimated is a past participle ， it can also be construed as an adjective

通胀比之前预测的要低

谢谢！因为给的题目里面里面than也划了横线，所以应该是“inflation was somewhat lower than previously estimated"对吗？那在这个句子里，estimated就是past participle，而不是adj.，对吧？那lower than前后的比较对象就是”inflation“和”previously estimated“，这样也可以比较吗？
