然后spear points with longitudinal grooves chipped onto their faces 我的理解是作插入语，或者说同位语吧，是对clovis points的进一步解释，意思是clovis points就是是spear points的纵剖面表面被切成缺口（chipped onto their faces不是太确定）然后where那个修饰site应该也不用翻译了吧
