是白勇语法上的一道题，

题目是
Astronomers at the PO have discovered a distant supernova explosion, one ___ a type previously unknow to science.

A, that they believe is
B, that they believe it to be
C, they believe that it is of
D, they believe that is
E, they believe to be of

答案是选的E，但是不知道为什么，因此特来请教大牛们~

逗号后面的结构是[one that...], that后面是从句，而one指代supernova explosion。

因此，supernova explosion和type的关系，一定是explosion是type里的一种，所以一定要有表从属关系的介词of，因此只剩下CE.

而其实，C和E在语法上都没有错误，E优于C的原因是：首先E更简洁。其次，C因为有代词it，所以再有表意相同且语法无问题的代替固定搭配的时候，少一个代词就少一分指代错误的可能（尽管这里C并没有指代错误），也就更简洁。
