请教同位语的用法

我也选第４选项。

理由比较牵强：

１.　直觉是用doing，因为大全里许多题目如directive, sentence都用doing；

2.　尽量保持原句的意思，所以用doing。

觉得应选E，因为that从句应该是修饰deal而不是part的吧...？

关于同位语，我的经验如下同位语可修饰前面的一个成分(短语，从句,动作...)

我选D。making比that makes好，理由是两个选项的句意其实有区别。原文意思是说，一个企业purchase了另一个，这个行为使得它成为了行业霸主。但E的意思倾向于变成：一个企业purchase了另一个企业，是使它成为霸主的那次purchase哦，不是其他purchase哦。

同位语，我的理解应该是总结解释前面的句子的吧。

第5句将原文的意思改变了，将强调的重心放到了后半句。碰到这种情况，其实可以补出同位语之前的谓语动词，那么第5句就成了

It is a part of deal that makes it the greatest company in the field.

很明显，这是一个强调句，与原文大相径庭。

请教为啥 AS A PART OF DEAL错？

which有一种特殊用法，它可以引导从句修饰前面的整个主句，代替主句所表示的整体概念或部分概念，这时从句谓语动词要用第三人称单数。

A中，which作主语，指代前面一整个句子，所以在这句话里，it指代不明，it是指代主语的这个行为，还是deal
