Well, whether you should go fro an SCM or an MBA depends upon your needs of course! And your goals. Are you focusing more on the technical side of things? Is this your strength? Is this what you love? Or would you prefer to move on over to the business side of things? Or start your own firm? You need to make the decision based on what type of professional career fits you and your skills best. If your intention is to apply to an MBA, the schools you have chosen can be good for you, but I can't say entirely until you have gotten your GMAT. But let's say that if you can score 20 points over their average of more, you will likely be in pretty good shape.Hope this helps Jon Frank Founder PrecisionEssay -- by 会员 JonFrank (2012/5/11 14:42:27)
Hi Jon, thanks a lot for your reply. After working in the SCM field for 3 yrs, I find the technical skills are of great importance. However, my undergraduate study was very abstract. So, I want to acquire useful quantitative methods and knowledge of risk management/decision models. These skills will definitely diversify my background and fit with my strengths. That's why I decide to attend an engineering programme in a prestigious university in Singapore this fall. But in the long-run, I want to be a supply chain leader. So, I am considering the application to an MBA program featured in SCM field upon graduation from the Master program. |
