纠结在D.C.两个， were 和was 的区别上。
也有看到manhattan 网站上给出的解释，实在没看懂呀~求飘过的NN 能助一臂之力~小女子感激不尽~

虚拟语气不用was的吧，都用were的。这句话表示对将来的虚拟

这句manhattan我觉得说的不对。应该是：
if a portion of the capital had been invested in another form, the interest income would have been generated.”

关于manhattan 那句的确感觉有点儿问题的~刚看了下虚拟语气的用法，确实是从句和主句的时态不一致了。

与现在事实相反: 从句: 动词的过去式（be的过去式一般用were）
主句:would/ should/ could/ might + 动词原形
与过去事实相反 : 从句 :had + 过去分词
主句 :would/ should/ could/ might + have + 过去分词
与将来事实相反 : 从句:动词过去式，should + 动词原形，
主句 :were to + 动词原形 would/ should/ could/ might + 动词原形

是这个意思吧~
