话说答案是B，原因是the指代不清
但是，在曼哈顿上说，表示比较的只有两种，第一种是times+as。。。as
第二种给了两个句子：
the cost of a ticket is 12, six times the cost ten years ago
The concert was attended by 300 people, twice the previous attendance
这里都没有用that，这是为什么呢？

that number 指469000 就是说1929年 truck 生产了469000*2那么多

如果你把cars去掉的话，A就对了

下面的例子数量都很确定上面的那个469000你不知道多少是car 多少是truck 所以你不能用the，这里用that的意思和the是不一样的，你不要弄混了。

要不然你自己想想那个the你觉得是指代什么？？
