From my point of view, I support that make new friends is more crucial in modern society for some reasons as follows.
Admittedly, if an individual wants to maintain a relationship, it is necessary to keep old friends. Communicating with old friends, shopping with them and studying with them frequently will make your friendship more stable and durable. Besides that, old friends understand us much more than new friends, so accompanying old friends is comfortable and relaxed. However, I have to point out that new friends are much more important and everyone needs new friends.
Undoubtedly, people often sort his or her friends into different categories, through making new friends we can benefit from each other. Taking my experience as an example, I have many friends and they are different from each other. When I have trouble in my math assignment, I will ask for help from my friend Jane, since she masters math very well, while if I can not decide which dress to wear, I am always consulting my friend Ann, as she is majoring in fashion. Due to I have many friends, I can solve problems more easily. So we should try to make more new friends.
