Noticed chase dream for a while,

Only spend a lot time recently, wonder how MBA will really change our life.

I spend hours reading the thread by Xieyin, but I do not think I am keen in banking.

I can not decide to do consultance or general management or coporate finace in future.

I have no finace or economics background at all.

In asia-pacific segement, people are talking abouting the possibilities of getting 400k rmb annual salary after CEIBS.

It seems that it was not even a common case.

if that is the career prospectives for MBA, I can not hold my ground to do a MBA anymore.

Therefore, I wonder if  MBA from US universities make difference. Have people really got a high salary increase after MBA?

Sorry, I am really shallow, the motivation of me doing a MBA is career change and more money.

Thanks

you are right, in fact if you have a very strong background, MBA does not mean that much too you........top talents do not need that much schooling....such like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs...etc.. you name it...

you know I do not mean that. I am an average person.

I know there were threads like that and caused a lot arguements.

I have no bad intention. I am trying to make up my mind.

Not young anymore, but really would like to make a career change.

trying to figure out whether it is worthy it doing a MBA or not.

Statistically, do majority get a career enhancement or not?

I do not believe what ever the business school says.

Thank you for your advice.

It all depends on how much you currently earn...

To unicorn,

Among my peers, I am average.

Comparing to my bosses, I earn peanuts salary.

Average school, average company, average life.

Definitely not high flyer in the company, not the one pull legs either.

Career progress is slow and steady due to the nature of the industry.

那你还是别读了。。
我觉得读完mba的人其实挣钱不多。国内发展好的都挣钱比他们多
就算kellogg这样的mba回来挣个100w也算不少了。。。但是国内真有本事的人。。一年100w实在是不多
