Hello my friend!  If you can afford to go full-time, and if you are younger than 35 or so, you should go for a full-time MBA program.  After all, that is the way you will get the most out of the program—contacts, courses, and even credibility.  The other programs (part time, executive etc.) are all great—but only for folks who tend to be older, or who cannot afford to take two full years to attend school.  I did my MBA at HBS, and it was full-time.  In fact, HBS doesn’t offer any other kind of MBA degree...  So if you are younger than 35 and can afford to, only look at full-time programs.  Those will be the best value for you for sure

Yes my friend, sorry to be the bearer of bad news.  But...you are a bit too old for a full time program.    Have you considered part time?  Executive?  Those confer the same degree (an MBA) but do it in a way that would allow you to stay at work.  Otherwise, I would consider the European programs, which tend to have students in their 30's.  IMD especially, IE, IESE--European programs are one year long, and VERY appropriate for someone like you.   In the US, you would be among the VERY oldest in your programs.  And that would be something you would have to address in your optional essay, etc...

haha! thanks Jon. Honestly, i do agree to what you said and even for European program, I'm probably still belong to the slightly older category. In fact, I have been thinking about part-time or global MBA (for example: programs from Manchester Global MBA and HEC Paris) and did some research and background online. However, it seemed like general feedback to such part time program aren't highly recommended and some claimed that it isn't even recognized by the employer since it is not full time and most of the program are done via distance learning or self learning. Could you pls shed some lights? thanks in advanced
