请教as when的用法

      Although it claims to delve into political issues, television can be superficial such as when each of the three major networks broadcast exactly the same statement from a political candidate.

请教as when的用法

偶自己总结的as when的用法只有一条：

as 作副词，当......的时候，后面加when从句，如as when she was...

*随着...时，当描写一个渐进的过程如age时，比when 好。请参考OG84的解释。

注意：if（引导条件状语）与 as when (引导时间状语) 不可互换。

这点没问题，as强调动作变化的过程，也就是强调动作；这是as和when的区别。

不过as when却有点不同；我查了一些例句：

They used elaborate secret codes,as when the names of trees stood for letters...

I enjoyed even more stopping to talk to all the people who admired it,as when you carry a cat to the vet.

These two types of stories compete, as when a friend insists: “Your relationship with your husband isn't the real you.”

as可以引导的从句类型总结如下：

1、时间状语从句：(注意和when的区别）

I saw him just as he was getting off the bus．

2、原因状语从句：

As the weather was fine，we decided to go for a picnic．

3、方式状语从句：（注意句式的表达）

Always do to the others as you would be done by.
Just as we sweep our rooms, so we should sweep backward ideas from our minds.

4、非限制性定语从句：（注意和which的区别）

As we know, smoking is harmful to one's health.
