因为我做的这本书虽然全是真题。但他把题都打乱排了。不好意思。找不到出处。

1:The first people to live in __________ Hawaii were the Polynesians, who sailed there in large canoes from other Pacific Islands about 2,000 years age.

A:now where is  B:what is now  C:it is now   D:now this is   (我觉得是A 但答案是B)

2:Ballads (were early) types of (poetry) and may have been among (a) first kinds of (music).(我选的是a ， 答案是music.)

3:The (taller) of all animals, a (full-grown) giraffe (may be) eighteen feet or (more high).（我选的是more high,答案是taller)

答案就是B. 因为在介词in 后面加得的只能是名词。有一句话“where there is will there is a way" （有志者事竟成）. 以这句话为例，where引导的只能是状语从句而不可能是名词性从句。所以A是错的。

2:Ballads (were early) types of (poetry) and may have been among (a) first kinds of (music).(我选的是a ， 答案是music.)

这是固定搭配：所有的序数词和最高级的前面一般来说都必须是the 而不是a. 不排除有特别的情况但是这种情况绝对不会超过5％。此外上文说的a为单数和kinds冲突也是很有道理的。

3:The (taller) of all animals, a (full-grown) giraffe (may be) eighteen feet or (more high).（我选的是more high,答案是taller)

A一定是错的。因为the + 最高级 ＋ of/in/among all + 总体性名词是固定搭配。所以taller一定是错的。最后一个选项是陷阱。因为这句话的断句应该是eighteen feet or more + high. 这是一个常见句型：数量词＋形容词。比如3 meters wide＝三米宽。句中的部分应该翻译为：18英尺或者更高。
