今天突然收到MIT Sloan School of Management的一封邮件

Greetings! Thank you for your interest in MIT Sloan’s Master of Finance (M.Fin.) program.

On July 12^th, 2010, MIT Sloan welcomed 61 new students to the MIT M.Fin. program. These students were carefully selected from a pool of over 900 applicants from around the world with varying backgrounds.

Over the summer term, the students embarked on a rigorous year of study with foundational work in finance. In the fall, they began two semesters of required and elective courses. As one of the cornerstones of the program is flexibility, students selected electives allowing them to tailor coursework to their particular areas of interest.

Students also enjoy access to integrated career planning services through MIT Sloan's Career Development Office. Services include: a dedicated career advisor, a skills assessment, job search resources, resume building workshops, and thorough interview preparation. In addition, MIT Sloan M.Fin. students gain invaluable access to MIT’s extraordinary network of over 100,000 alumni around the world.

是一个外国人今天先用中文打电话给我，好像说今年9月干什么的，应该是去他那边吧。但因为当时比较嘈杂我听不太清，而且这事太突然，我说考虑一下，他就说把介绍发我邮箱了，就是上面那封。
我现在想了解一下这个项目的情况，有人有相同情况吗？我只是考GMAT时填了这所学校，其它什么信息都没给他。我考分才700，也不算高，我在想是我真中奖了还是他是广布网每个700+的填他学校的都联系呢？
请有相同经历的或比较了解的CDer们说一说把

其实我也觉得像广告，因为他除了我的分数其它什么信息都没有就联系我。
但是我又觉得他不单发邮件还打电话，如果是做广告会不会太麻烦了点

我正在写回信，我只是想同时问问CD上有没有其它人有这种情况，因为如果很多人都有这个经历的话就证明是广告了我也懒得去管了。因为太突然了，我现在大三，本想大四申学校毕业出去的，突然说下学期有这个机会

单从这一句就看出来是群发了。以前申请的时候经常收到mit的这种邮件。
