这道题从代词it的提示下可以很快排除其他选项得出答案，但是我在做这道题目的时候犹豫了一下，the coin proved unpopular中是否缺少助动词was呢？这应该是一个被动的句子吧。

。。。这个问题白痴了。
原来在作"证明是;结果是;事实说明"解时,prove可用作系动词,prove+adj./n/介词短语或副词/不定式（作系动词时无被动语态）
希望能给和我一样不记得prove用法的孩子们一点提示啦~
