98 (题目全划线)Even though Clovis points,spear points with longitudinal grooves chipped onto their faces,have been found all over North America,they are named for the New Mexico site where they were first discovered in 1932.这个是正确的，但我不明白spear points with longitudinal grooves chipped onto their faces,在句中做什么成分？同位语吗？还是是插入语？修饰Clovis points？Clovis points和spear points是一个东西吗？这句话到底什么意思呢？句中的their faces 到底是谁的faces啊？
还有那个they are named for the New Mexico site where they were first discovered in 1932.中的they 指的是Clovis points吗？那这个代词they与their faces指代一致吗？会不会引起歧义啊，因为前文中longitudinal grooves 也是复数啊？
这道题的意思做题时根本没看懂，求指点一下，非常感谢^_^

不会有歧义，longitudinal grooves 是同位语，只是插入成分，可以忽略不看，their 和they指代的是主句中的Clovis points

Even though Clovis points（主语）,spear points with longitudinal grooves chipped onto their faces（同位，分析句子时可以跳过，chipped xx 是过去分词后置定语，修饰前面的名词）,have been found all over North America（从句说完开始主句），they （主语是代词时，优先指代前面从句的主语）are named for the New Mexico site where they（句子中有多个相同代词，他们指代同一个东西，不会有歧义） were first discovered in 1932

一个让步状语从句：尽管Cp，同位语解释cp，在北美发现；让步内容说完，开始说主句：他们因NM一个地方命名，然后接定语where xx从句说明nm是1932年他们第一次被发现的地方。
