NYU Stern MBA 面经 [2011-12-20]

面试的那天纽约好冷，我约的是上午11点。去到的时候跟另一个同一时间面试的美国女生Jessica碰上了。就像大家所说的，stern给每个面试的人都准备了一个folder和t-shirt。等了一会还是我们两个人，我就主动跟Jessica搭讪了，聊天气，聊工作什么的，没一会儿里面面试结束出来了一个男生然后就轮到我们俩了。面试我的是Stefanie，桌子上放了杯水。Stefanie简单的介绍了下面试然后就直接问问题了。问题大致是下面这样，也许会根据每个人回答的答案问不同的问题，所以仅供参考。

1. Tell me why you studied XXX for your masterdegree?
2. How did you get into your current job? (回答这个问题的时候我觉得我抽抽了。。。我就说了我怎么找的这个工作，花了半分钟的时间就讲完了，然后觉得答案太短，于是我就问你想不想知道我这个工作的function是怎样的啊？问完以后我就囧了。。。幸亏stefanie笑了，说这个问题就是我接下来要问的问题，于是我终于可以敞开说了。
3. 所以第三个问题就是上面说的那个what do you do at yourjob?
4. What are your career goals?
5. Why Stern?
6. What are the companies you want to join after MBA?
7. Say if you interview for the company you want tojoin but you don't have an MBA, how do you convince the company you are the one forthe position?
8. If your goals do not turn out as you plan do youhave alternative career choices?
9. Do you have any questions?

整个过程Stefanie并没有做任何纪录，反倒是不时的看时间，所以我觉得我有可能说得太多了。。。面试结束后Stefanie把我送到办公室外面，Jessica已经早我一步进了电梯。整个过程大概半个小时。中间有个小插曲，我讲话讲得口干舌燥，就端起面前的水要喝，结果因为紧张的，手抖啊抖（真没出息啊。。。），于是只好两个手捧着杯子。好奇怪，我说话的时候一点没觉得自己紧张的，反倒是喝水的时候才发现自己真的紧张。

版上有好些以前的面经写得很好，虽然问题不太一样但是我觉得Adcom的最终目的是一样的，所以大家有时间的话可以多看看。

7。what I have learnt from my current job provide me with unique idea in the target industry, my competency of technology in the target industry and my interpersonal and leadership skills.
8。我就说如果career goal does not turn out as planned是因为没能读成mba的话，我不会轻易放弃，因为我对我的未来有faith，所以我会怎样怎样做，in one way or the other，我最终会实现我的梦想。
我觉得这两个问题adcom想要知道你对你未来的职业是否了解，还有你是不是能成功的sell yourself to the industry for an internship。
一家之言请谨慎参考。
