OG69题，解释里说at the time不好，不能表达出a extended period of time，而正确答案就是as

OG84题，解释里说when in C and D is less precise than as in characterizing a prolonged and gradual process such as aging.

照以上的说法，这里的as好像用的不太好吧。obtained是一时的动作。

我感觉as如果作为时间状语的引导词不对

因为obtain是及物动词 如果要用as 引导的话 要用as的话 要用as they obtained information

而这里obtain后没有东西 所以as不能用 只能that或省略

哈哈，走眼了，这里不是use .. as，而是such ... as

这句话我查了词典，如你所说，as不能引导时间状语；在这里和OG的题里都不是引导时间状语。

You uses as to say how something happens or is done,or to indicate that something happens or is done in the same way as something else.

the same as中的as 引导的是后面的句子和前面的句子的动作做比较，两者相似。换成that后变成that从句修饰book，没有了前后动作的比较，而且我觉得换成that后面就不能用do，应该还原成read。
