５道几经语法题讨论～

1.       讲述一个英国的舞蹈，a form, in which/ where/ by which/ for which ????

take turns doing sth.= take turns at doing sth.
take turns to do sth. 和 take turns (at) doing sth.应该都可用,有点类似于 begin/start, 但一般这种两者皆可的情况下我倾向于用to do. 除非这样表示状态的句子 They used to take turns guarding the house. 我觉得用doing 较好而to do也不算错。 而一般像 You should take turns to play the new toy. 个人更偏爱用 to do.

第五题终于确信可以是45% less than those of country B了，参看下面这个例句：

They found that birds that stayed weighted 5 percent less than deserters, having come close to starvation-even though food was plentiful(Oecologia,vol119,p293)。

这道题迷惑的地方不是比较数字，而是少了多少，类似的有more than，在表达少了多少这个概念的时候没有看到ETS用less than的例子，ETS要么考less做名词，要么比较的是前后整体。当时觉得答案应该改为45% fewer than those of country B。今天终于找到了一个例句。不过这道题如果出现45% fewer than those of country B这样的答案，我还会优先选择这个答案的。

这种题目，我一般就看是不是比rate(lower）或比人（fewer），有没有明确数字，比较的可不可数是最最后面才考虑的，而且less越来越有通用的趋势，longman里还有这样的例句“No less than 1000 people came.”

具体到这里，如果真是45% fewer than those of country 和45% less than those of country ，牵扯到数目特别是%就得用less，还是选less than,
