为什么选择E，未免省略的太多了吧。。paid in predominantly male occupations over(wages paid in ) the predominantly female(occupations) has,

主语是单数，应该用has所以排除ABC，过去分词优于定语从句所以排除D

LZ我觉得吧，省得多并不能判断为错。
你看E即便如你所说省略较多，但是完全表达了句子意思。
D的话你不觉得整个句子很臃肿么？比如those that are
