我在prep语法上看到的解释有时候是说 by doing 优于by n ，有的时候又说by +n 优于by doing 所以很疑惑。以下两道是prep上找的题

以下是从另一题的解析中截下的，具体是哪一题我不记得了
为了表达“通过作某事，使得…”这一意思，只有by doing才是正确的表达方法。其他方式如：by后面直接加名词或名词性结构，不能表达出句子想要表达的意思。通过利用从句，掩埋句子关键，使句子没有表达出事宜，是GMAT的常见错误之一。
