记得之前在Manhattan上看过如果前后两句主语一样，不能用逗号隔开。

曼哈顿上的例句是这样的：Earl walked to school, and later ate his lunch.（错误）。如果按照这一原则，E不就不对了吗。求解答！！！

这两句不一样啊

例句是逗号两个clause：earl 走路，(earl)吃饭。
e的逗号后面是gerund，没有动词，相当于一句modifier。

是吗？

E中prove是主动表被动，不是modifier，我非常确定，这是prove的一种用法

不是核心，先看别的问题，不会仅仅将这个作为区别正确与否的考点。
