此题答案给的是c，因为有人说说D选项中limit错误，因为THAT指代的是the kind，而非struggles。

同交流，不知道是不是the kind of fierce intercolony struggles看作为一个整体。所以that指的就是它。

跟另外的例如语法大全23题那个，one of only eight battlefield that had remained undev..。
估计THAT也是修饰ONE而不是EIGHT 。。吧
