第一题，我们不是说S+V+O，ving句型中 ving只能修饰S，或者前面整句，不能修饰O吗。那么答案是C，解释说circling修饰planets. 即修饰了O。这不是和总结的矛盾了吗？？？？

第二题：答案是D，如果选D，spending如果按第一题理解岂不是可以修饰patients,引起歧义？？？？

第一题要是选答案的话，as large or larger than繁复可以排除ABE，D又有which的明显错误，所以选C。 circling的话，我觉得应该是就近修饰的most of them。

第一题请楼主注意，planets和它的定语cirling之间有插入语most of them at least as large as Jupiter是用逗号隔开，不是你所说的cirling作状语的情况，还请LZ看仔细题目。

第二道题spending则是作状语，不修饰patients。还是请LZ仔细看题。
